First Annual SABL Skills Poll

Gentlemen,

 

We have decided to have the first annual SABL player ratings poll for pitchers and hitters.   If you would like to   participate then just send your picks to the info@SABL.ca id.

 

The questions are divided up into 8 categories.

 

·         Anyone can vote

·         You cannot vote for your team or any player on your team

·         One pick for each question

3.                   Team that shows the most sportsmanship on/off the field

       1.              Best arm

       2.              Best knowledge of hitters and calling game

       3.              Best at blocking pitches

 

Umpires

 

1.                   Best strike zone

2.                   Best umpire on the bases

3.                   Best overall umpire in the league

4.                   Worst overall umpire in the league

Victor Chan Bobble Head Day

As we approach the last weekend of the season the Dragons are offering a Victor Chan Bobble Head to the first 12 fans that come to the park.  This is in appreciation to the loyalty and support to all Dragon followers.....plus we have a ton of inventory of this and just can't get rid of them!!!!

League Leaders

There's been a couple of updates to the League Leaders code:

- Each category has been expanded from 3 to 5
- To be on the AVG leaders list a batter must have, on average, 2 plate appearances per game that his team has played
- To be on the ERA leaders list a pitcher must have, on average, 1 inning pitched per game that his team has played

Also, any ties in the League Leader stats (other than AVG and ERA) are ordered by who has the least at bats or innings pitched.
